Clinton County Courts Plan to Return to Full Capacity

Since the Stay Home order has been lifted, the Clinton County Courthouse will open its doors to the public beginning June 8, 2020.  Please take note of the following safety measures that will remain in place:

Health Screening - Security personnel will administer verbal health screening of all visitors. They may inquire into what departments they intend to do business with as there will be a limit of how many visitors are allowed in the building at any given time.

Face Masks - Visitors must be wearing a mask to enter the facility. If one is unavailable, a disposable mask will be provided. Limited exceptions may be allowed for individuals entering the court per Judge’s discretion.

Designated Entrances - To facilitate social distancing, the south entrance of the Courthouse is designated to public only. The south stairwell is down only and the north stairwell is up only.

Social Distancing - Visitors who can conduct business via a Department’s front window/counter must maintain six (6) feet from others at all times. Marks separating visitors by six (6) feet will be placed on the floor in front of all county department reception areas.

Enhanced Hygiene –Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the building and signs are posted regarding proper hand washing methods. Handshaking is also prohibited to ensure good hand hygiene.
