Fairgrounds & Smith Hall Rental

  • Use of the Clinton County Fairgrounds property and facilities, including Smith Hall, is regulated by the Smith Hall/Fairgrounds Use Agreement and License (PDF).
  • Effective July 29, 2008 the following rates have been approved (and amended March 23, 2010) by the Clinton County Board of Commissioners for use of the Fairgrounds or its component parts:

    Smith Hall rental fees shall be considered waived for events sponsored by County departments or public agencies directly affiliated with the County.  Otherwise fee waivers will only be considered and/or granted for the purpose of events to honor and/or fundraising for individuals killed or severely injured while performing public services.

    The county reserves the right to assess a $35 fee for "NSF" (Non-sufficient funds) checks.
