NOTICE: Effective October 1, 2016 the Recording Fees will be a flat rate of $30 per document. The fees will no longer be based on the number of pages being recorded. This fee DOES NOT include Tax Certification Fees.For any deed, mortgage, lis pendens, certified copy or other instrument:

Assignment & Discharge Fees
Any document which assigns or discharges more than 1 instrument $30.00 plus $3 fee for each additional instrument so assigned or discharged.NOTE: First instrument listed on Assignment or Discharge is included in recording fee.
Tax Certification Fees
- $5 fee for up to 5 legal descriptions on a single instrument
- $0.20 per additional description (PA 39 OF 2015 - Effective July 1, 2015)
Real Estate Transfer Tax
State and county real estate transfer tax must be included on transfers and conveyances of real estate subject to the tax. Go to the Transfer Tax Section of our website for information on tax rates, exemptions, transfer tax tables and further information.Personal Property Recording Fees
