Notice by Companies to Purchase Property Records
From time to time, we are notified by concerned residents that they are receiving notices from various companies attempting to persuade homeowners to purchase copies of their property records/deeds at a significantly higher rate than if you were to purchase a copy directly from our office. Often times, these notices upset our residents. Please be advised that these companies are in no way affiliated with Clinton County. However, there is nothing illegal about what these companies are doing.

The Clinton County Register of Deeds records and protects property owner’s most important real estate records. These records are safely kept on a permanent basis and are available for purchase at a $1 per page.

At any time you would like to obtain a copy of your real estate documents, please contact our office. We are committed to providing our residents with great customer service and look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
