Clean Community Event on 10/4
The
next Clean Community Event (CCE) will be held on October
4 in DeWitt Township.
Clean
Community Events assist residents to recycle or properly dispose
of just about any household generated waste item. There are
fees for some items, but most materials are collected for free.
Click on the link to the left for the Fee Schedule. The events
are also open to small businesses, however additional fees do apply
for hazardous and electronic waste items. Disposal fees are waived
for volunteers! For more information, click

Residents
must call 989-224-5186 and schedule an appointment to attend an
event, there are no exceptions. Appointments can also be made
by sending an email to waste@clinton-county.org.

Collection Events

Coordinating Committee (R2C2) of which Clinton County is a member.

Books
& More! Free Recycling Event
Saturday September 27, 2008 2008 8:00 a.m. to Noon at the Delta
Township Water Operations Facility 7812 W. Willow (between Canal
Rd. & I96). Items accepted included all hard cover books, paperback
books, magazines, telephone books and boxboard (cereal boxes, shoe
boxes, etc.) and clothing and textiles (do not need to be in wearable/usable
condition.)
Document
Destruction Day
Saturday, October 11, 2008 8:00 a.m. to Noon at Friedland
Industries recycling yard 405 E. Maple St. in Lansing 's Old Town
Lansing, Michigan 48906. The event will accept any type of paper
document for confidential shredding and recycling. This is
the perfect opportunity to clean out files in a safe manner to protect
one's identity as well as positively impact the environment. The
event is free and the document destruction is guaranteed.
