The Friend of the Court is a statutorily created agency acting in support of the Family Court Division of the Circuit Court. The office is charged with two broad mandates.

The first involves the child support collection activities and enforcing the orders of the court related to child custody, parenting time and child support.

The second deals with assisting the parents and the court in setting or modifying such orders.

The office offers a wide variety of services that resolve conflicts and reach a conclusion that services the best interests of the children and their families.
