Who We Are/How the CCAPB Came into Being.......

The Clinton County Agricultural Preservation Board (CCAPB) was formed in late 2002 after the Clinton County Board of Commissioners passed The Farmland Preservation Ordinance, November 26, 2002. The CCAPB is a seven member body including one county commissioner, three individuals representing agricultural interests, one individual representing city, township and/or village interests, one individual with real estate or development interests and one individual representing conservation interests. Members of the CCAPB serve three-year staggered terms with the exception of the County Commissioner which is designated on an annual basis.

Ag Board meetings are held the 4th Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room (Conference Room C) of the County Courthouse. Meetings are open to the public and posted in general circulation with other county meetings.
