2010 da Vinci award winnerClinton County's Francis Motz Park was one of 17 worldwide finalists for the Michigan Chapter of the National MS Society 2010 annual da Vinci Awards®.  The da Vinci Awards® recognize the most innovative adaptive and assistive technologies that enable equal access and opportunity for all people, regardless of ability. These innovations play an important role in helping people overcome physical limitations.  Nominations were received this year from across the U.S, Canada, United Kingdom, France and Denmark. U.S. entries from 17 states and the District of Columbia included six from Michigan. 

Finalists and their innovative technologies were honored Sept. 30, 2010 at a special awards event at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Mich., with Clinton County's Francis Motz Park announced live that evening as the 2010 winner of the Environmental Adaptation/Daily Living or Work Aids category!
