Clean Community Events are held twice each year, in the spring and in early fall. The 2014 dates has been set for Saturday April 26, 2014 and Saturday September 13, 2014. Dates are subject to change and locations have not been determined as of this date. Exact locations are released once an appointment is scheduled.
Clean Community Events assist residents to recycle or properly dispose of just about any household generated waste item. Items accepted include household hazardous waste, farm and landscaping chemicals, motor oil and antifreeze, electronic waste, bulky waste or junk items, scrap metal, appliances, tires, yard waste and clothing, textiles, books and reusable household items for donation.
There are fees for some items which are listed on our Fee Schedule, but most materials are collected for free. The events are also open to small businesses, however additional fees do apply for hazardous and electronic waste items. Disposal fees are waived for volunteers!
