CCE Collection Event Registration

To schedule an appointment, please complete the following information and click Submit.  If material is being disposed from both a residence and a business/organization, please complete registration for each one.

Once we receive your information, we will give you an appointment time confirmation by email or phone.  You will also receive final confirmation (with instructions and a location map) from us in the mail about one week before the event.

The events are held from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with appointments available every 15 minutes.  Please indicate your preferences for dropping off your material:

Are you a volunteer for this Collection Event? 

Fees are waived for residents who volunteer to work at the event for three hours.  If you would be interested in volunteering, please complete the on-line Volunteer Registration information.


ITEMS FOR DISPOSAL / RECYCLING

Hazardous Waste

Residents are able to drop off items free of charge.  Small businesses are assessed a fee based on the type of material and must complete required paperwork.  Call (989) 224-5187 or email conserve@clinton-county.org for more information.

List items (ie: a bottle, box, gallon of pesticide, herbicide, oil-based paint, etc.)

Electronic Waste

Residents may bring in 2 items free of charge and there is a $5 charge per each item thereafter.  A complete computer system (computer, monitor, printer, keyboard) is considered two items.  Small businesses are assessed a per pound fee.  Call (989) 224-5187 or email conserve@clinton-county.org for more information.

Residential Electronic

Indicate the number of items you have in each catagory.

Bulky Waste

Fees are as follows:

  • $15.00 per half truck load of waste
  • $30.00 per full truck load
  • $45.00 per heaping truck or trailer load

Please indicate the types of items you have for disposal.  In addition, indicate if you will have about a half truck load (3 cubic yards), a full truck load, level to the top of the bed (6 cubic yards) or a heaping truckload or trailer full of materials (9 cubic yards).

Appliances with Freon

Fees are assessed at $10 to remove refrigerants prior to recycling as required by law.  The fee is charged for all applicable appliances (refrigerator, freezer, dehumidfier, etc.)

Tires

Fees are assessed at:

  • $1.00 per 16" tire
  • $5.00 per 16"-24" tire
  • $15.00 per tire greater than 24".

To determine the tire size, measure the height of the space inside the tire or rim.

Please indicate the number of tires below.  It is very important that a correct count is provided to ensure appropriate trailers are ordered for transportation to a tire recycler.

Scrap Metal

This is a free service for both residents and businesses.  It includes non-freon containing appliances. (ie: washers, dryers, etc.)

Organic Waste

This is a free service for residents.  Small businesses may participate but will incur a charge.  Please contact (989) 224-5187 or conserve@clinton-county.org for more information.

This is a free service for both residents and businesses.
