The 2011 Planning Commission meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m., the 2nd Thursday of each month, and will be held in the Board of Commissioners Room, 2nd floor, Clinton County Courthouse, 100 E. State Street, St. Johns, Michigan.

Clinton County Planning Commission Meeting - April 12th, 2012
New Business

  • PC-07-12 SP - Application for a Final Commercial Site Plan - an application for final site plan approval has been submitted by Searles Construction, Inc., for the purpose of a mineral extraction operation on vacant properties located in Section 30, Greenbush Township (Parcel ID#19-090-030-100-015-00, #19-090-030-100-012-00, #19-090-030-300-005-00 [portion thereof] and #19-090-030-300-010-00 [portion therof].  These properties were granted rezoning approval from A-2-General Agriculture District to MR - Mineral Resource Extraction District on July 6th, 2008 (Case PC-20-08 MA). The Planning Commission approved Case PC-07-12 SP at the 04/12/12 meeting.
  • PC-08-12 MA - Petition for Change of Zone/Map Amendment OR-87-12 - an application for a petition for change of zoning / map amendment has been submitted by Matthew and Kim Schlegel requesting to rezone property located at 7300 W. Island Road (Parcel ID#19-080-009-400-010-00), Section 9 of Essex Township, from A-2 - General Agriculture District to ME - Mineral Resoure Extraction Disrict. The Planning Commssion recommends approval of Case PC-08-12 MA to the County Commissioners and they will review this case on Tuesday, April 24th at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioner's room, 2nd flloor of the courthouse.
